Stichting Waza no Michi supports and facilitates exchange between Japan and the Netherlands within the field of material culture, with a special focus on traditional art forms and manual skills. Reports on projects supported by Waza no Michi will be posted here (to be updated in the near future).
Exchange programs scheduled for 2025:
- Jan-March: Research project at the Ashiro Urushi Technique Research
Centre (Iwate Prefecture) by author Mr. Joris Esscher in support of a new
book on the topic of craftsmanship.
- April: Welcoming Kōdō expert Mina Hayakawa to present the Japanese
Scent ceremony to audiences across the Netherlands.
