Stichting Waza no Michi is a registered non-profit organisation in the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Its board members and network of volunteers aim to solidify the cultural bonds between Japan and the Netherlands by promoting, preserving, and supporting the exchange of material culture. Especially those elements of material culture that are centred around tacit knowledge and human experience.

Our mission statement includes the following ambitions:
- Building a physical and digital knowledge institute that focuses on Japanese material culture, arts and crafts.
- Facilitating and supporting exchange between Japanese and Dutch professionals and students within the field of material culture, with a special focus on manual skills.
- Actively promoting the importance of material culture, manual skills, and tacit knowledge to both Japanese and Dutch policymakers and lobbying for government engagement.
